About this ebook

When she wrote to Santa as a child, she didn’t know her wishes would come true years later…

Holly Berry is spending her first Christmas without her grandmother, who had raised her. It’s difficult, but she’s getting through it. Then, unexpectedly, she’s asked to foster a puppy. Feeling out of her depth, she turns to her childhood friend, who offers to give her some guidance.

Veterinarian Colin Bishop has given up on relationships after his busy practice keeps interfering in his private life. But when the girl next-door needs some help, he’s more than willing to make room in his busy schedule. But he knows not to fall for her infectious laugh or dazzling smile because his patients will always come first.

A sweet Christmas romance with rescue animals as a main focus, love that about this series!!! Holly was raised by her grandmother since she was nine months old and abandoned by her parents. Just a short six months ago, her grandmother passed and left Holly everything. Now Holly's parents have returned to Kringle Falls, but what they want is murky. With the help of the local vet, Colin, and a cute puppy that needs a home, Holly's Holiday season might not be so lonely.

Enjoy reading romances that are unexpected and not planned. The characters try to resist the attraction so much that it makes for very interesting reading. Like the setting in the background of the story. Like the characters because they're both strong but can't fight the attraction they feel for each other. They don't want to but sometimes it's hard to do. Especially when they're thrown together. Good read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ms Faye entrances readers with her Kringle Falls series as soap-store owner, Holly, discovers the implications of puppy love. Local veterinarian, Colin, teams up with pet-store owner, Merry Kringle, to convince Holly, still grieving the death of her beloved Gran, that little Tater Tot needs a foster home with her for the holidays. Puppy Smooches has a more poignant trope than Book 2 & is a ‘must’ for animal lovers & readers who are interested in family dynamics. A voluntary review of a free ARC.
