I liked the plot, but It did have some holes, and I felt left unresolved on so many little things that would have made the book great like the two side characters figuring out she new how to sign. I found the FMC to be funny, especially if you like sarcasm. I found the world building to be good and enjoyed the mix of modern our world with mythology. however, I hated the two main male characters. Yes, they sounded hot and gave bad boy energy, but their characters were extremely pushy at times and seemed all mean like they were never nice to her and did completely use her, this is one of the few fantasy books I've read where I was rooting for FMC to be left alone with her brother and given a hot meal. I will read the next one in hopes she gets revenge.

This is a fantastic story. The world building is brilliant. This has a darker side so please be careful. The characters are amazing. I want to be Alexis’ friend. She is fantastic. Reading as everything went down had me on the edge of my seat. I devoured this book. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. The plot was insane. I highly recommend this book!

it was weird at first, then I loved the fmc and her bro, but the plot was very ..... plottable.. I always knew what was coming next
