About this ebook

One brooding Scottish pub owner, one American grad student, and one semester—enough time to fall in love.

When workaholic PhD student Olivia Boyd lands in Edinburgh, romance is the last thing on her mind. Her dissertation on Scottish folk music is in shambles, and she’s running out of time to save it. The Red Rose pub seems like the perfect spot to escape a driving rain and get some work done beside a warm fire. But its brooding owner, Max Cameron, proves to be her biggest distraction.

Max gave up his career dreams to save his family’s 200-year-old pub. The last thing he needs is to fall for a temporary visitor, especially one whose ambitions reach far beyond Edinburgh’s cobblestone streets. But something about Olivia’s determination and hidden passion for Scottish culture breaks through his carefully built walls.

As autumn leaves turn and winter whispers approach, Olivia and Max find themselves caught between her looming departure and the weight of his family obligations.

Step inside The Red Rose pub where two people will soon have to choose between following their hearts or their destinies.

THE RED ROSE - My first read by this after years of seeing her books everywhere. A well written, sweet, clean romance, actually two romances, without any of the silly drama and stupidity so common in this genre. Fun, good characters and story lines. 4*
