In order to enable intelligent decision-making to prevent security assaults, particularly in permission-less blockchain platforms, artificial intelligence (AI) techniques and machine learning (ML) algorithms are used. Dr R. Ganesan has been a professor and the Dean of the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, India, since 2012. He has more than 24 years of teaching experience. His areas of research interest are information security, network security, and blockchain. He has published several research papers and is a reviewer for various national and international journals. He was also certified as an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) internal auditor by TÜV Rheinland (India) Pvt. Ltd. in 2007.
