Sonic the Hedgehog

it's painful to imagine Archie comics canceling Sonic the hedgehog in 2017,and then this comic comes out..Ian Flynn did a good job in the old Sonic the hedgehog comics, because he grew up with the old Sonic the hedgehog comics and knew the characters.now sega just throws the basic Sonic the hedgehog video game characters at Ian and tells him to turn it into a comic book.it's boring and lame!sega just turned the best video game comic series of all into the lamest comic book video game series ever!

I felt that there wasn't much story, but it is the first issue of the series, so it doesn't necessarily need to start off deep in story. The Archie comics had deep, meaningful interactions, but this series hasn't had the chance to build to that yet. Worth a read, but you won't get much out of it until the next several come out.

A solid start. Fine characterization of Sonic and his best buddy, some nice action and smooth panel lay out, dig the art and has plenty of fun intrigue. I look forward to more issues.
