About the author
Hunter Davis, author of the captivating World of Asteria, discovered his passion for story telling even as a young child. Growing up, he was enthralled by tales of adventure and heroism. It wasn't until a college English assignment—where he penned the origins of Antar the Dwarf—that Hunter realized his gift for weaving fantastical worlds. That fateful project became the first chapter of The Dragred's Deception, which he eventually published during the 2020 pandemic, marking the start of his writing journey.
Hunter’s work spans from epic fantasy to Christian study books, offering readers clean and uplifting stories that resonate with all ages. His faith in Jesus Christ inspires his mission to craft meaningful narratives, blending themes of adventure, transformation, and hope.
Influenced by literary greats like J.R.R. Tolkien, Louis L'Amour, G.A. Henty, and C.S. Lewis, Hunter’s writing reflects a rich tapestry of inspiration—whether it’s the immersive worlds of Middle-earth, the grit of the American West, or the imaginative brilliance of Narnia. When not bringing his characters to life, Hunter enjoys the outdoors, embracing the spirit of adventure that fuels his stories.
