Despre autor
Jeremy Tubbs shares his personal journey of involvement in the church, witnessing and participating in the manipulation of faith for personal gain. Having been both on the receiving end and the perpetrator of false teachings and deceptive practices, Jeremy brings a unique, firsthand perspective to the subject matter.
In the book, he reflects on his own struggles with narcissism, personal relationships, and the desire for validation. He recounts moments where he used God's name for personal motives, including seeking attention and influence over others, especially women, and how that ultimately led to his own realization of the truth. His journey of self-awareness and transformation is central to the narrative, illustrating the dangers of straying from the true message of the Gospel.
Jeremy is also well-versed in the dynamics of modern churches, particularly the megachurch movement, and offers a critical examination of how many churches today have shifted focus away from spiritual growth and authentic community in favor of materialism and prosperity. His experiences give him a deep understanding of the corrupt practices he highlights in the book, and his goal is to encourage others to return to biblical truth and a genuine relationship with God.
In addition to his personal story, Jeremy is actively engaged in the Christian community, sharing his insights on the importance of truth, integrity, and service. His writing aims to challenge readers to think critically about the state of the Church today, urging them to look beyond the surface and embrace the real power of God’s Word.
Ultimately, Jeremy’s journey from confusion and deception to clarity and truth serves as a powerful reminder of God’s transformative power. His mission is to help others avoid the same pitfalls and to point them back toward a faithful and authentic walk with God.
