Good fun, it does a good line in aggravating exes that I thoroughly enjoyed! It's the kind of book that leaves you with a smile on your face & that can't be a bad thing. Also, I like that the women are all of a "certain age"! The recipes at the back would be great for anyone who likes baking, so that's another bonus.

Struggling divorced mother with amazing kids and a dumbass ex-husband solving crimes with no experience. Read the ex-CIA Grandma series first. It's more believable. Although the story is well written, Amelia is just one burnt cupcake from a breakdown. Not spending my leisure reading navigating that.

After her husband leaves her for a younger women,, Amelia Harley 44, who has never worked before has a plan. With help and advice from her two teenage children she starts her on food truck business. The Pink Cupcake. Where she bakes and sells cupcakes. Her ex is not very happy with this decision. Mystery and murder soon follow. As always Harper Lin has written another great read! I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
