Not something very unputable but yeah you can spend your leisure time reading this. And one more thing is that I find the name very mismatched. There is mention of macaron and also, obviously, of murder but it's not a "macaron murder"!

Really the whole, police officer is stupid and laughable is overdone, and if the plot requires the police to be so short sighted, unimaginative and downright clueless, then there is something wrong with your plotting.

Good book for free. Set in France, Clemence gets back home from traveling the world and not home 3 days there's a murder in her building. The dectivie looks at her like she did it. She is determined to prove the dectivie wrong.
