The conceptual flow of the book follows the same pattern as the third edition. Users of previous editions will notice that the structure of the last edition has been retained, but each chapter has been updated, where relevant, with coverage of seminal research that has occurred in the field since the publication of the last edition of the book. Many of the tables remain but have been revised and updated to reflect the current state of research in the field. We believe this approach will be helpful to instructors who use Global Leadership: Research, Practice, and Development as a textbook as they will not have to significantly revise their lesson plans but rather can straightforwardly update them with new information from the existing chapters within their course designs.
