About this ebook

Over the past year I have created an eBook documenting parts of my recovery from an eating disorder, highlighting the things that assisted my recovery. I found that there were no resources available, other than medical based documents, to assist in my day to day recovery. Whilst I make no assertions to being an expert, I hope that my book will assist people recovering from an eating disorder in a practical and supportive way. The finished product is 170 pages of helpful information in relation to nutrition, movement, meditations, recipes, self-care strategies and natural therapies. This eBook provides information for dealing with common recovery experiences. From Amenorrhea, digestion issues, anxiety, insomnia, bloating and inflammation and hormone regulation. My personal experience with recovery makes this the perfect resource for those recovering, everything you could possibly need to know in one spot.

this book helped me come back from being underweight from depression and trying to eat too healthy. i had no idea how to increase the calories without needing to add unhealthy things like saturated fat etc. the recipes in this book gave me a real eye opener on how to add those extra calories and still eat healthy. thank you so much! i am now normal weight and feel much better. although i went vegan i can still use the recipes and substitute to vegan options.

About the author

I am 23 years old. At the age of 16 I suffered from Bulimia for three years. I was diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa at 19 and hospitalised where I fought to save my life. For as long as I can remember I have been victim to diet culture and the unrealistic, ideal standard that our society upholds for women all over the world. For the last three years I have documented my journey through recovery from a life threatening and ever consuming eating disorder. I have documented my triumphs, my failures, set backs, emotions, and everything in between. I have created this eBook with the hope that it can help others in the same position. I want it to be a safe place for anyone experiencing mental health struggles or eating disorder recovery. I want you to feel a sense of security, to have something that can be of assistance to you on the bad days, I want this to be the trusty handbook that you reach for when it all feels like too much. I am a survivor, I have been through the depths of the hell that mental illness can be. I want you to read this as if I am your friend, I want you to remember that I am rooting for you and that I believe in you.
