About this ebook
In his dark fable Animal Farm (1945), George Orwell explores the events following the Russian Revolution and the rise of Stalinism. It follows the animals on a farm as they unite to overthrow human rule and establish a society built on freedom and equality. Yet conflicts and rivalries soon emerge, revealing that even in a society of equals, »some are more equal than others.«
A powerful political allegory and one of the defining works of the twentieth century.
