Frye Jason is a learning designer, educator, and lifelong student who has spent more than fifteen years studying how people actually learn—and why so many of them stop. Over the course of his career he has completed more than three hundred online courses on subjects ranging from programming and data analysis to language learning and public speaking, and he has taught thousands of adult learners as an instructor and curriculum designer in both corporate and community settings.
His work centers on a simple conviction: almost anyone can learn almost anything, provided they bring the right method. That conviction has taken him from designing onboarding programs and technical academies for working professionals to writing widely shared guides on study techniques, note-taking, and motivation. In his writing and workshops, he is known for translating the science of learning into plain, practical routines that fit into a busy life rather than demanding one.
Frye Jason lives in the Pacific Northwest, where he is usually working through at least two courses at once, one of them a foreign language he is determined to keep up. His own unfinished-course dashboard, he admits, is proof that the method allows recovery, not perfection. The Online Course Method is his first book.
