“There is plenty of violence, gore, and battle action here, and readers will find the pace breathtaking.”—School Library Journal

Alyss of Wonderland’s rule has only just begun, and already those who prefer chaos to peace are threatening to destroy everything worth imagining. With her life now a mix of duty, love, and tough decisions, Alyss is doing her best to keep pace with the nonstop demands. And then a series of phantom sightings set fire to an urban myth. The people think Her Imperial Viciousness has returned. And everyone is seeing Redd.

But has Redd somehow freed herself and her chief assassin, The Cat, from the confines of the Heart Crystal? If not, then who has resurrected Redd’s brutal foot soldiers, the Glass Eyes, and set them loose to attack Wonderland on all sides? Can Alyss unite her country and her people to defend White Imagination, or will Wonderland be lost?

A fun read that beckons to bygone years of reading for the sake of reading. Certainly not a thought provoker but still fuels the imagination. Reading even as an adult it has surprises but reading as a kid again it flourishes a love of story telling.

I loved The Wonderland Wars, but I didn't love this book as much. I was really disappointed with how simple Redd's Maze was and with other weak plot developments. However, overall it was a decent middle book to a trilogy with a few interesting new characters, and I look forward to reading the third to find out how the unresolved issues turn out.

This book and the previous book were amazing. I lovethis writer's spin on the story. A movie would be amazing!
