About this ebook

They’re both starting over. Fate’s determined they do it together.

NHL all-star Clark Dorsey is still at the top of his game, but he’s done with hockey. The night of the championship, Clark announces his retirement and returns to Seattle to spend time with his sick brother and figure out his next move. He needs to unwind, but his interfering brother sets him up by renting half of their shared condo to a beautiful, opinionated and fascinating woman.

Nurse Leena Lopez is done with the spotlight. When her whirlwind fairy tale romance ends in a cheating scandal, Leena’s suddenly broke, alone and hounded by paparazzi in a new city. Desperate to put down roots, Leena says yes when a patient offers her the condo he shares with his Canadian hockey star brother. She can ignore the teenage crush she had on Clark Dorsey—he won’t even be in town.

But Clark arrives and they’re both thrust back into the headlines they’ve been desperately avoiding. Can they figure out how to be alone together? Do they want to?

A great start to a new series by a new to me author. Stuck with You by Fortune Whelan. Book one in the Dorceys of Conception Bay series. A fun enjoyable storyline with a great setting and dialogue. I really hated when I had to put the book down and I wanted more at the end. Can't wait for book two in series and more books by author.

Charming, silly, emotionally-fraught. Happy I got an ARC for this. I love Leena, and wow, do I ever sympathize with her (doomed) efforts to be a "no-drama llama". Whelan clearly had fun with the absurd way life throws curveballs, but Leena has darkness to be faced, too. Plus, this is a #sportsromance where the gal gets more attention for her athletic skill than the more famous guy athlete, sweetie though he is. The set-up is light, but there's darkness underneath. How can Leena retrieve her self-esteem, when paparazzi keep following her around like a giant blinking gold-digger arrow of shame? And just-retired NHL all-star Clark wants to travel the world, but he won't leave until his brother Danny dies. Except his brother has other plans--including match-making. Whelan isn't afraid of real reactions and emotions. She allows her characters face their trauma believably, slowly, and with surprising & delightful twists.

A wonderful sweet romance that makes you run the entire range of emotions while you are reading it this is a first time read for me of this author and I believe it could be her first book if it is she has knocked it out of the park Clark Dorsey dream was always to be in the NHL and he achieved it but now on the night of the championship he ahs announced his retirement he wants to travel and relax but most of all he wants to spend time with his dying brother What he doesn't expect is that his brother will get involved in a little match making and rent out the other side of their condo to nurse Leena Lopez a woman trying to escape her own infamy. Soon she is having to accept that the teenage crush she had on the NHL star is nothing to her crush on the real man but they also have dramas to get over if they are to have a future together Can't wait for Danny's story.
