Exoneration: The Shadeward Saga, Book Two

“Some of the chapters are just sheer excitement, the breath-taking plot developments along the way keep the reader both guessing the outcome, yet at the same time totally enthralled.”

"A welcome return to the strange world of Esurio. The story continues where we last left the main characters, and there is trouble brewing for everybody courtesy of the planet’s sun. Drew has excelled himself yet again with the excellent mix of old and new conflicts, deception, lust, divided loyalty, hatred, and a novel way of tackling pirates! It’s a cracking read."

"Drew definitely ups the ante with Exoneration. Without giving away any spoilers, I can say that the excitement levels are extraordinary with the priestesses powers and the restless Lacaille combining to cause the predicted havoc. The characterization as always with Drew's novels is first class. They are all fully three dimensional even in this exotic world where almost nothing is as we know it on Earth. The sexual tension between the two of the protagonists is supernatural and hints at more secrets to be revealed."

Exoneration, Book Two of the Shadeward Saga

The priestesses of Drayden, with Kiri in their ranks, seek to dominate the planet Esurio, believing they have a goddess given right to do so. Meru discovers artefacts from the past which shed light on the strange and forgotten history of the people of the planet. Zoella’s fears grow into reality as the star above them, the fierce red dwarf Lacaille, demonstrates its devastating power.

The relationships between our protagonists deepen dramatically as they meet and are forced to choose sides. War and conflict rages around them. Forced into confrontation they discover the strange and remarkable powers of the priestesses and the unforeseen consequences of technology long forgotten.

Our protagonists begin to question what they’ve been told and Kiri, in particular, has a difficult decision to make between her feelings and her loyalty.
