About this ebook
Tom Maverick thought he had buried the killer inside him. He builds a quiet life, a fragile peace, and a distance between himself and the blood on his hands. But peace is a lie when the past comes knocking with a gun to your head.
When a shadowy syndicate threatens the life of his young son, Tom is forced to make a choice he swore he'd never make again: accept another contract. His target? A high-ranking Chinese politician hiding deep inside Iran. The mission is suicide. The stakes are absolute.
As Tom navigates closer to his target, the lines between hunter and prey blur. The intel was a trap. The allies he trusted were bought. And the betrayal cuts deeper than any blade—because it costs him the one person he couldn't bear to lose.
Now, the grief that could have broken a lesser man has forged something far more dangerous. The restraint is gone. The conscience is silent. The beast is loose. Just when he thinks it can’t get worse, it does…
Tom Maverick is no longer fighting to survive; he is fighting to burn the world down until his son is safe. But if they think they can corner him, they’re wrong.
With his anger unleashed, how will Tom execute the contract, get out of Iran alive, and save his son? Find out in book two of Tom Maverick’s adrenaline-drenched series.
