Might still leave you bleeding.
Captain Ethan Walker is taking time off to recover from a mind-altering telepathic accident, when a disturbing warning disrupts his peace: another colony has gone dark.
Hoping to find out what happened, Ethan is forced into an uneasy alliance with his former enemy, the Pirate Lord Jetaar. He needs use of one of his stealth ships, but Jetaar doesn’t trade favors. He trades futures.
Ethan knows better than to trust the pirate, but finding answers means sneaking into a hostile star system and outrunning a Coalition battlegroup. And something even darker: The Institute’s Tahrat Shan Che.
If Walker and his crew fail, they may never know the truth, but if they succeed they might just put the galaxy’s most dangerous weapon in the worst possible hands.
Read Book 5 of Wings of Earth now—because the deeper you dig, the darker it gets, and the future might already be lost.
Eric is known as a writer of harder-edge Science Fiction novels with believable characters, action-packed plots, and a solid science foundation that provides the backdrop for the story. He lives in the beautiful high country of New Mexico's Manzano Mountains (where the winter weather has occasionally been said to resemble the outback of Mars). Before becoming a writer, he was Director of Research for a private consulting laboratory in Phoenix where, among other things, he experimented with inertial propulsion and power generation technologies.
When not writing, Eric plays guitar and bass and occasionally dabbles in art of various forms.
He also owns way too many dogs… and, as a result, is often seen fighting heroically against mountains of dog-hair.
