About this ebook

Megan Miller has only been Point Pleasant’s supernatural liaison to the notorious Wardens of the West for two months. She thought she’d have more time before facing another murder.

She was wrong.

When a beloved bookstore owner is found dead, Megan is pulled into a supernatural murder investigation that quickly proves more complicated than anything she’s handled before. The victim was a vampire, and nothing about the case feels simple. A confession comes too easily. Witnesses choose their words too carefully. And the truth seems tangled in supernatural politics Megan is only beginning to understand.

With her coven at her side and her instincts pushing her forward, Megan must follow the trail wherever it leads—even if it means stepping deeper into a world that doesn’t want its secrets uncovered.

Because in Point Pleasant, immortality doesn’t guarantee safety… and every mystery leaves a mark.

Perfect for fans of witchy small towns, found family, and cozy mysteries with a magical twist, this paranormal cozy will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.

This is the second book in the series, and it is a fabulous companion to the first. Join Megan as she tries to solve the murder of a bookstore owner who also happens to be a vampire. It's a tough world, but Megan is tenacious, giving her all to a job she wasn't sure she wanted. This mystery is beautifully complex in a small package. Thank you to Eloise Everhart and BookSirens for the opportunity to read this complimentary digital copy. As always, my opinions are my own, honest and true.

Lots of twists! When a bookstore owner is violently murdered, Megan is asked to investigate. The victim was a paranormal, and the manner of death suggests the killer was too. Nothing about this case is straightforward. Confusing confessions and reluctant witnesses lead Megan on a dangerous path. A good mystery! It ends with a scary cliffhanger. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book. I received an advance copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.

I received an ARC from BookSirens and am leaving an honest review. 4.5⭐️ Being the local witch liaison is roughly 10% casting spells, 10% solving crimes, and 80% regretting every life choice that brought you into supernatural politics. When Point Pleasant’s favorite bookstore owner turns up dead, Megan Miller gets dragged right back into the investigative chaos. The catch? The dead shopkeeper was actually a vampire.
