Elodie is on leave from teaching at the college. She has a planned trip to the forest with her two students. Love how everyone has their job and knows how to do it. Love learning about the new birds I had never heard of. Book is set in Canada and although it's not far from the US some of the birds/animals are a bit different. Elodie also has thoughts of dying and even visited a therapist to help her through it. Story also follows Kendra will also be camping with them.
