This one just may blow your mind. This is the first book of Nina, Arlo, and Matteo’s story this is very intense and somewhat weird at times. It is also dark with very raw and powerful moments. It is not a kid’s book! Expect twists and surprises and let’s say this one just may blow your mind. It is not a book for everyone but it is very intriguing and has a good cliffhanger. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

As others have stated, i didn't love it, but it was an interesting read. For me, the few minor word repetitions made me eye roll but the plot made me stay till the end. I'm a professional book skimmer and usually after chase is over I'll move onto the next. This one kept my interest. Be warned: it gets rough at times but our heroine is one tough cookie. She's got kink that's darker than 50 shades. Just read it, you won't love it, but you'll appreciate a fresh idea outside of all these other HEA's. (happily ever after)

Hummmm - not really sure how to rate this book. I didn't "like" it but it was very interesting and well plotted. I am anxious to continue the series and it definitely held my attention. The story is dark, twisted and edgy. The characters are secretive and mysterious and the tension is maintained throughout the story. The character are not likeable and this is not a nice story with an HEA. All the characters are twisted. This is not an easy or a fast read but more of an edge of the seat, how much more can I take type of book. There were some annoying plot holes that interrupted the smooth flow of the story but I was still flipping pages to find out what would happen next. There is more to come. This does have an HFN but it's absolutely NOT the end. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
