Blood Crown: In a World Ruled By Men, Only Women Will Rule

I finished the book because I paid for it, but it was HARD to push through to the end. This book is all sex, no romance. There is talk of love and loyalty, but it's based on nothing but a "mate bond," which apparently replaces the need for developing the relationships between characters. There is no struggle in developing the relationships, so it doesn't feel rewarding to the reader. The amount of sex in this book is RIDICULOUS. I wanted a sexy book. It's not sexy when it isn't special. The main character finds "release" literally 10+ times in a day from hardly any effort. No buildup to the sex scenes, as they are literally horny all the time for no reason and just launch right into it literally every couple pages. The same descriptors and same acts over and over again. I appreciate that the author must have worked really hard on this, but it just simply isn't worth the money. Weak plot, no relational development, and over-exoosure to the sex make it a tough read.

I loved the dual narration of Skyler Morgan and Katrina Medina , both bring the heat and the characters to life . Blood Crown plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Ashera is strong female characters you can't help but want her to succeed. Throughout the book, Ashera faces obstacles that she must overcome. However, she'll find that she has help along the way. I really liked Ashera as a main character. The traits that she portrayed were perfect for her role. She is not only strong and independent, but shows that she is smart enough to outwit all the men who come in her way. This is one hot and very spicy book! You have been warned or warmed .... HOT HOT
