Pollyanna

This was a thoroughly enjoyable book. I had always enjoyed the Disney movie, but found the book to be even more entertaining. Unlike more modern books, Ms. Porter makes sure all is well with a happy ending for almost everyone. It was entertaining to see the use of words we no longer use due to their negative meaning today. It is a book about simple times and keeping positive regardless of the woes life offers.

I just love Pollyanna. Expect lots of cheese, cuteness, and an utter heartwarming feeling. It may be too much for some but if you're looking for a feel good story and an easy read, this is for you
