Born without magic in a world where power defines worth, Keriya Nameless has spent her life as an outcast. During her coming-of-age trial, she seizes a chance to finally prove herself.

Instead, she dies.

In the void beyond life, Keriya comes face to face with Shivnath, an enigmatic god of untold power, who offers her a deal. Shivnath will return Keriya to the living world, if she agrees to an impossible mission. The ancient warlord Necrovar seeks to kill the last living dragon, and it will be Keriya's job to stop him.

Armed with the knowledge that Shivnath chose her for this, Keriya journeys into an unknown empire to face enemies far more powerful than she is. If she fails, the Shadow War will begin again...

And this time, the world may not survive.

No wonder this book is free. It's a poor story that revolves around an underdog character that is harmless and defenseless (she has no weapon or means to defend herself from start to finish, not even a sharp stick) till the near end of the book where the author suddenly grants the MC temporary powers to one shot Superman himself. And let's not forget her companion, the small bronze dragon that shoots laserbeams out its mouth. Aside from numerous poorly thought out fights, weird dialogues between the MC with other characters, and the socially awkward moments the MC has; the book offers an ok-ish level of entertainment if you prefer to do something else than watching paint dry.

just barely better than Morgan Rice. mc has no back bone even when she finds a back bone temporally it's not for long and she is completely useless . this book is a slog to read and get thru. at least there's no retconing stuff that happened a chapter before and chaging the story constantly. Barely better than Morgan Rice

I personally think that the tempo and character development is phenomenal, there are a few misspelled words, but this is in my opinion a fun and exciting start to a new world.
