looking for peace. Now she won't answer her phone, and the one message she did
send made no sense at all — except for one sentence Naomi can't stop hearing:
"You need to leave before eleven."
Disgraced and out of options, Naomi talks her way into the retreat as a new recruit,
expecting to find a cult. What she finds instead is calmer, kinder, and far harder to
explain — a community that seems to be healing people, governed by one
unbreakable rule: everyone home by eleven o'clock, every single night.
But as Naomi gets closer to her sister, she starts to understand that the rule isn't
about rest. It's about what happens to the people who are still there when the last
night comes — and how very few of them are ever seen again.
She has one chance to get her sister out. She just has to figure out what "out" really
means, and reach it before the clock runs out for both of them.
