What readers are saying about the Michael Flint novels:

“Fabulous book. Could not put it down!”

“Great fast-paced novel! Has ALL the requirements to keep me seated and reading. Not an easy task! Very well written. An excellent read!”

“The best I have read this year!”

“Flint is today's James Bond, and I can't wait to see where his adventures will take him next!”

“The characters are so real and the story line keeps you in suspense.”

“Clever premise, unusual story, great new characters. Couldn't put it down. Don't hesitate - you want this book!!”

“Outstanding new characters. Intriguing plots that kept me totally involved. Loved Flint and looking forward to more novels involving him and his cohorts. Whole new arena for Diane Capri. Kept me up late at night not wanting to put it down. Recommended!”

“In my little world of mysteries and thrillers, what gives me the greatest joy? Easy: Characters I enjoy reading about and - be still my heart - discovering that I'll be able to read about them again and again as part of a series. So color me delighted to find this book, which introduces "heir hunter" Michael Flint.”

“Flint strikes sparks – then fire! The action comes fast and furious. There's great procedural/forensic detail and engaging looks at each character with very well executed and exciting twists and turns, enough to keep things in suspense right up until the final page. Diane has not only given us a truly fascinating novel, she's laid the foundation for an epic new franchise populated with truly memorable characters.”

“What a terrific story! I love side-by-side stories since it is so fascinating when they finally coincide in a dynamic conclusion.”

“What a great fast-paced story which has the reader looking forward to the next line, paragraph and page as it's an outstanding page turner!”

“Great new heir hunter! Flint is back!!! Heir hunter extraordinaire, Michael Flint, is back with his newest case!”

“I was enthralled with this book because of the genealogist theme. I dabble in genealogy, and have hit my fair share of brick walls. Michael Flint is a great character, fully developed personality, with knowledge and fearlessness to pursue wrong-doing and try to make it right, not necessarily within the law. I couldn't put down either of the books in this series and am hopeful for more.”

“I started reading Ms Capri's Jack Reacher spin-offs. I've read them all. Moving on to her other works. Great reads. Can't wait for the next in the Michael Flint series.”

“I like the fast pace and not having to wade through a description of the mosaic tile walls in the lobby of some building. A tenacious character with a set of values and a conscience. A very good read. Couldn't put it down!”

“Tense and captivating page turner. I really enjoyed the Heir Hunter series and am hoping for more real soon. Michael Flint is a true adventure hero every bit as good as Indiana Jones with a dose of Jack Reacher thrown in for good measure. He's highly principled, while somewhat flawed, but very loyal with a vulnerable side he'd rather keep hidden. Please Diane Capri......more, more, more!”

“This second book was every bit as riveting as I'd hoped for. It kept me on the edge of my seat, and I could hardly put it down. I can't wait for the third book in this series!!”

About the author

Diane Capri was born in Alabama, but grew up in a small German-American farming town north of Detroit. She graduated from Wayne Law School cum laude and served as an editor of the Wayne Law Review. Ranked in the top 1% of lawyers nationwide, she practiced law throughout the U.S. Always an insatiable reader with a keen interest in crime fiction, Diane spent the time on airplanes and in hotel rooms learning fiction craft when not practicing law. In 1995, Diane's largest client filed for bankruptcy protection. The hours to write what she loved instead of what paid the bills stretched endlessly before her. She figured it was now or never. Diane challenged herself to complete Due Justice in the style of stories she loved to read. She'd moved to Florida and adored everything about the Sunshine State. No surprise, then, that her first novel and all Diane's books that followed are suspenseful Florida mysteries. Diane's heroes are Wilhelmina Carson, Jennifer Lane, and Jess Kimball women who deliver true justice along with a splash of humor. The books quickly found a publisher, an audience, and acclaim as well, under the author name M. Diane Vogt. She was humming along on all cylinders again when her publisher failed, bankruptcy followed, and a legal quagmire swallowed her books and her career - again. Diane had long been active in Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, Romance Writers of America, and other writing organizations. After her publisher's bankruptcy, while she was writing the new Jess Kimball novel, Fatal Distraction, she was invited to join International Thriller Writers at its inception and shortly thereafter, became a member of the board along with her friend, the #1 International Bestselling author, Lee Child. At a cocktail party in New York in 2009, Lee and Diane discussed a great question: Where is Jack Reacher? The answer was unknown, which inspired Diane to write a series of suspense novels answering the inquiry with Lee's blessing. The first of those novels is Don't Know Jack, introducing FBI Special Agents Kim Otto and Carlos Gaspar. The short story singles, Jack in a Box, and Jack and Kill quickly followed. The second novel in the series opened to rave reader reviews on September 15, 2013. The sixth book in the Hunt for Jack Reacher series, Jack and Joe, is a 2016 USA Today Bestseller. Diane is a snowbird, dividing her time between homes in Northern Michigan and Florida. Of course, she will always love sharing adventures with Willa Carson and Jenny Lane and Jess Kimball, and reading Travis McGee. But these days, she's busy on The Hunt for Reacher.
