Deborah — a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth — judged Israel from under a palm tree between Ramah and Bethel while Sisera's nine hundred iron chariots oppressed the land for twenty years. At the word of the Lord she summoned Barak to Mount Tabor, marched with him to the Kishon, and watched the Lord rout the Canaanite host. Then she sang — one of the oldest and greatest victory songs in Scripture (Judges 4:4-9; 5:1-3).

Deborah Made Simple is a Bible-first walk through Judges 4 and 5 and the threefold pattern of her life: judging (faithful in the quiet seat), leading (marching when God says "Up"), and singing (turning every victory into worship). Every chapter opens with Scripture, teaches from the text, and closes with reflection, application, and prayer.

Explicitly Trinitarian: God the Father who hears cries and commands battles; Jesus Christ — Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior — the greater Deborah, the greater Barak, the greater Jael who struck the decisive blow at Calvary; and the Holy Spirit, by whose power alone chains break and victories come. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit.
