A Haunted Mansion Ghost Story
Every night at 3:07 a.m., Holloway Manor stops breathing.
The clocks halt. The wind dies. Even the dead go quiet. The locals call it the hollow hour, and they say nothing that walks in that silence ever leaves the way it came.
When Nora Hollis inherits the crumbling estate from an aunt she never met, she plans to sell it within the week. But the lawyer's keys don't fit the right doors, the portraits in the east hall change their faces after dark, and a child's laughter drifts through walls that were sealed a century ago. Then she finds the nursery. Someone has set the table for six. Five of the chairs carry carved names: Victor, Constance, Harlan, Lydia, and Hannah Holloway. The sixth carries hers.
Nora has until the next hollow hour to learn why the house chose her, what happened to the family that vanished within its walls, and who is standing just behind her every time the lights go out.
Because Holloway Manor doesn't haunt its visitors. It collects them.
And the hollow hour is almost here.
