Summary: DON'T BUY THIS. "Original pages" is a lie. It's still typesetting and formatting the content, and what do you know? It's doing it --very--poorly: (i) Displayed math text is grossly disproportionately sized. It's also looks pixelated, like some fool took a screen shot of a properly rendered version and then magnified it 10x. (ii) Because of (i), when in the original pages view, it doesn't work! Text that's supposed to fit on one page in a physical copy no longer does! (iii) Because it's generating and typesetting the content, there are no page numbers! And because of (ii) the pages it displays do NOT correspond to actual pages in a physical copy. (iv) This is probably related to (i), but random tables and figures appear in negative (inverted) colors! And are totally unreadable! It's like someone opened Photoshop on one of their (already grossly oversized) snapshots of math text and pressed the 'Negative Image' filter button--whites appear as black, colors appear as their negatives! Bottom line: If you don't care about page numbers and weirdly oversized tables and figures, then the "Flowing text" format is at least readable, but looks bad. Otherwise, DO NOT BUY THIS! You are not getting a copy of the actual published book. (By the way, all these problems are present when viewing in Chrome and Firefox, and also on an iPad Air) PS, A plea to the publisher: Please stop being so last-century about DRM and just give us a proper pdf-like version for use in Google Play Books "Original pages" mode--which is ALREADY DRM-protected anyway!
