Flavours of Éire is a celebration of Ireland’s rich culinary heritage, culture, and traditions, told through food, history, and storytelling. From the rustic kitchens of rural Ireland to the vibrant heart of Dublin’s hospitality scene, this book explores the flavours, people, and traditions that have shaped Irish cuisine through the generations.
Written by Irish restaurateur and author David Ellis, whose career in hospitality spans more than four decades, Flavours of Éire combines authentic recipes, cultural insight, and historical reflection to offer readers a deeper understanding of Ireland and its enduring relationship with food and drink.
More than a cookbook, this is a journey through Irish life itself — from hearty traditional dishes and timeless ingredients to the stories, customs, and communities behind them. Whether you have Irish roots, a passion for food, or simply a love of Ireland, Flavours of Éire offers a warm and evocative taste of the Emerald Isle.
