Every year, caribou reindeer travel long distances in large groups.
Reindeer herds live near the border of Canada and Alaska during the winter.
Then, in April, when spring arrives, the reindeer start their migration.
They walk about 600 to 1,500 kilometers to reach the coast of northern Alaska.
