The life lessons learned the plot . I loved it all. The detail the characters were described enough for me to visualize them. I have my copy that I just love . I'd love to see this in movie form

Aaaaahh! Oh my god! What a great story. The ending was amazingly clever and I freaked out when the fire god was revealed to be an (spoiler ahead.) Old one. Just like in demonata. I fangirled so hard their. Also, at the end I noticed a few connections to cirque du freak and demonata. (Spoilers ahead.) This story takes place in the potential future of cirque du freak where the lord of shadows comes into existence. The rock spirits were lesser demons from demonata. Please debate.😃

I was never a fan of the Huck Fin book. It bored me to sleep alot. When I saw that Darren Shan wrote a book inspired by Huck Fin I thought, "Great another book to put me to sleep." Out of respect for Darren Shan I bought the book and sat down to read it. I am happy I get to eat my words today. This book was amazing. A great read from cover to cover. I would recommend this book to many people. Darren Shan...... you are one writer whose books will last as long as Steven Kings book........ maybe even longer.
