The year is 1989, and Daron’s band Moondog Three is really starting to take off, but life is complicated. On the one hand, Daron has finally told his closest friends and bandmates that he’s gay, while on the other he has sworn off sex.

Cecilia Tan has been writing professionally since she was Daron’s age in the 1980s. She sold her first fiction in the early 90s, and her short stories have appeared in Nerve, Ms. Magazine, Strange Horizons, and Best American Erotica.
