About this ebook

An exciting new financial thriller from a brilliant team: former Wall Street trader Danny Moses and two-time Edgar Award–winner Steve Hamilton.

Ryan Parks is a successful hedge fund manager, his wife, Beth, is a corporate lawyer, and their eleven-year-old daughter, Lucy, is crazy about basketball. The Parks family has a great life—until Lucy gets sick and everything is turned upside down.

Ryan and Beth are now consumed only with finding a cure for their daughter, when a glimmer of hope appears in a clinical trial for an experimental new drug. Developed by a buzzy new company called BioMore, the drug is the invention of one remarkable woman, whose research may have unlocked the cure to not just Lucy’s cancer but all cancers.

The drug shows incredible promise at first, and Lucy is getting better and stronger by the day—until rumors of trial patient fatalities, along with a sudden drop in the stock price, threaten BioMore’s future. This seemingly simple case of securities fraud leads Ryan into a vortex of international biotech espionage.

As the walls close in, Ryan will have to contend with rival firms, a tenacious FBI agent who suspects him of murder, and a mob boss who will do anything to silence him. But the biggest threat of all is the highly skilled assassin who threatens not only Ryan’s family but the greatest medical breakthrough of the century.
