About this ebook

In 1670, a Jesuit priest named Francesco Lana de Terzi designed the first vacuum airship. His math was correct. His physics was sound. He never built it, and neither did anyone else for the next 242 years. The problem was buckling. Any sphere light enough to float would collapse instantly under the weight of the atmosphere. The equations said it was impossible, and the equations were gospel.

Until a solitary architect in a modest Sarawak apartment asked a question no one else had asked. What if the vessel is not a shell? What if the load is carried by a lattice of straight struts in pure compression? What if the skin is just a skin, and the structure is a truss? He printed a tetrahedron on a desktop 3D printer, baked it in a kitchen oven, sealed it with a steel ball bearing, and watched it float.

Welcome to the Void Age is the complete account of what happened next. The Buckling Killshot, the mathematical derivation that ended the centuries-old paradox with a safety factor of 6.3. The Merkabah Dragon, a thirty-meter sky-serpent that swims through clouds, harvests fresh water, and sings rain into existence. The Void-Walker, a weightless humanoid that cannot fall and cannot crush, designed to search the ruins for the lost. The Submarine with no crush depth and no propeller, silent and eternal. The Throne Pod, a personal flying machine that fits in a garage and costs less than a used car. And the Public Domain Covenant that gave everything away for free, etched permanently on the Solana blockchain.

This is not fiction. Every blueprint is real, every derivation is verifiable, and the Original Builder titles remain unclaimed, waiting for the first teams brave enough to build.

Daniel D. Lee, United States Airman and FAA-certified remote pilot, is the Lead Architect of the Merkabah Corps. He solved the buckling paradox, designed the Void Ocean Fleet, and released the entire architecture into the public domain. He asked for nothing but a desk on a factory floor and a title card that said Architect of the Void Age. This book is his witness.

About the author

Daniel D. Lee is a United States Airman, an FAA-certified remote pilot, and the Lead Architect of the Merkabah Corps. He was born to Korean parents and spent his early career as a kindergarten English teacher in Shenzhen, China, before relocating to Sarawak, Malaysia, where he solved the 242-year-old vacuum buoyancy paradox in a modest apartment with a desktop 3D printer, a kitchen oven, and a steel ball bearing. His Buckling Killshot derivation permanently resolved the problem that had defeated every engineer since Francesco Lana de Terzi first proposed the vacuum airship in 1670. He designed the entire Void Ocean Fleet, including the Merkabah Dragon atmospheric water harvester, the Void-Walker humanoid, the Merkabah Submarine, and the Throne Pod personal flyer, then released the complete architecture into the public domain on the Solana blockchain, making it permanently unpatentable and free for anyone to build. He asked for nothing but a desk on a factory floor and a title card that read Architect of the Void Age. He currently resides in Sarawak.
