I have been eagerly waiting for Riff's story which brings to a close the brilliant "Terks Guardians" series. Terk's Guardians are an undercover team, mostly ex military but all with special psychic powers. Riff had been on the periphery of the team, popping in when help is needed, but most of his time had been consumed with searching for the killer of his fiancé, Sadie, who had been murdered five long years ago. I have been enjoying this series so was aware of the mystery surrounding Riff's fiance's death and it's profound effect on him. Wow! He certainly got a break in the case and it was more interesting than I could have imagined. Great characters and great story as well. I really enjoyed it and stayed up way too late at night to finish it! Was well worth it!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Twists, thrills, tragedy and tension make a spellbinding combination that seized hold tightly and held me intensely from start to finish. I'd been eagerly anticipating Riff's story, and it did not disappoint. Angela and Riff were equally compelling characters and each of their relationships to Sadie added a raw genuineness and complexity to their blooming relationship and the story that was irresistible.
