Complete and unabridged, with 59 full-page plates by Thomas Lawrence, John Constable and Henry Raeburn. A young aristocrat comes of age as the old Tory party dies and asks what a party is for. This edition is bound with a gallery of 59 plates after painters including Frith, Leech, Morland and Turner, dating from 1789 to 1883.
