About this ebook

"This fresh, addictive mystery delivers thrills, compassion, and hope." --Publishers Weekly

The first book in USA TODAY bestselling romantic suspense author Colleen Coble's Annie Pederson Series returns to fan-favorite Rock Harbor with new characters, complex new mysteries, and a new chance to find love.

Nine-year-old Annie Pederson's life changed the night her sister was kidnapped. The two had been outside playing on a dock, and Annie never forgave herself for her role in her sister's disappearance. Twenty-four years later and now a law enforcement ranger, Annie is still searching for answers as she grieves a new loss: the death of her husband and parents in a boating accident.

At the same time, her first love, Jon Dustan, returns after nine years away, reigniting the town's memory of a cold case he'd been suspiciously linked to before he left to pursue his orthopedic residency. For the sake of her investigation and her heart, Annie tries to stay away. But avoiding Jon becomes impossible once Annie realizes she is being targeted by someone desperate to keep secrets from the past hidden.

Readers love Edge of Dusk's Rock Harbor setting, cold case investigation, second-chance romance, and complicated family secrets. Perfect for fans of Terri Blackstock, Dani Pettrey, and Lisa Harris.

The Annie Pederson Series starts with Edge of Dusk and is followed by Dark of Night and Break of Day. All include discussion questions for book clubs and gluten-free recommendations that tie into the story.

Edge of Dusk by Colleen Coble is set in the same setting as Colleen Coble’s Rock Harbor series. I thought Edge of Dusk was well-written with realistic, developed characters. I did feel that Taylor Moore’s character needed more fleshing out. It is a suspenseful novel with plenty of action. Edge of Dusk is a compelling tale with a missing sister, a second chance romance, a precious puppy, a lethal killer, disturbing happenings, an adored daughter, and a fretful mother.

Annie was a ranger with an 8 year old daughter, along with running the marina and cabins. Especially during the summer months, now getting them ready. Painting she knew of, finding dead bodies was not on the agenda. Nor was an old love, that had come back to town to be with his dad. An excellent plot, of life in a small town, with friends, murder and secrets. A good flowing plot and story line, given ARC by Net Galley &thomas Nelson Given ARC by Net Galle
