In this nature’s paradise, is a human hell where the lives are lost daily in pursuit of Ideology. Armed by own set of Justifications India, Pakistan and the Kashmiris battle each other to no end in sight.

Zealous young men continue to die for a cause diseased by treachery and celebrated by heroism. The territorial desire of Pakistan has cost dearly to the generations stifled in this conflict. This fight has devastated many a homes with ever widening chasm and deepening scars.

Punctuated by blood curdling violence, Kashmiris are prisoners of a historic mistake. In the ongoing series of Pakistan’s grand design to wrest control of this state, a proxy war was unleashed by them in 1989. This war still continues as I write.

Thank you for bringing this out. Wish the book had some maps. Secondly wish the book carried out content such ORBAT of QRT and Cordon parties and compared to the ORBAT of Afghan Muj & Pak Muj during early 90s, mid 90s, late 90s and how the tide in weaponry changed in 2k era Secondly the last two chapters of the all important elimination of the Al Badar chaps could have been deeper. All in all, much needed book, brings out the sacrifices of Junior Officers, the dare delivery of of 2nd Lt, Lt, Capts & Maj. The baggage of JCOs, & the extreme craftiness of the enemy. India can never let her guard down. The Army must be equipped with even better, outgun, out range, out envelop the enemy in asymmetrical battles, & on LC. Comms, NVGs, Extra ammo carrying capacity, fire direction sys, LR interdiction capability must be added. I am shaken up to the core after reading this. Kashmir is with India only due to the bravado, grit, determination, sacrifice of the men in Arms, the valor unsurpassed. We need to add more manportable organic fire capability UBL, MPAGL, Flame thrower rockets, Grenades, Bipod HMGs, Compact AR of 12.7mm Caliber & strike terror in the heart of terror. we cant sacrifice men & maimed them due to faulty policy,. They will never stop till they are stopped
