About this ebook

The key appeal of Lignocellulosic Film/Paper Based Advanced Functional Materials to readers is its targeted, application-driven focus on lignocellulosic film and paper based functional materials that links fundamental composition and characterization to reproducible processing, diverse high-value applications including energy storage, packaging and sensors, and sustainability considerations—all in a single, coherent volume. Unlike many competitors that treat either fundamentals, processing, or applications in isolation, this book combines rigorous theory, practical case studies and an industry-oriented perspective that makes it useful both to academics and to industry professionals seeking translation paths. The comprehensive framework from fundamentals to applications is structured to allow readers to grasp both the scientific foundations and the practical significance of these materials. The interdisciplinary perspective, assimilating science, engineering and sustainability equips readers to translate laboratory research into scalable, eco-friendly solutions. The book's forward-looking orientation integrating current theory with practical guidance and case studies supports readers in navigating real-world challenges in material design, optimization and industrial application - Provides a complete pathway to understanding lignocellulosic film/paper-based materials, beginning with the sources, composition, and separation of lignocellulose, moving through preparation methods of films and papers, culminating in their advanced functional applications - With dedicated chapters on electrodes, rechargeable batteries, adsorption and separation, electromagnetic interference shielding, photothermal conversion, sensors, and radiative cooling, the book demonstrates the versatility of lignocellulosic films/papers in addressing urgent energy, environmental and technological challenges - Bridges material chemistry, structural design and device-level performance, while emphasizing the role of renewable biomass in replacing conventional, unsustainable materials
