An amaaaazing book! I would highly recommend reading the other books in the series though (The enemy, The dead). All of the characters were extremely well developed. However, you should note that Charlie Higson isn't afraid to kill off main characters. A heart-pumping gorey story with a unique twist on the zombie apocalypse. I highly reccomend!

I bought the first book on Google play and fell in love and then saw that I could buy books 1-3. So I did even if I already read book one, I just fell in love with these books and I don't really ever read unless it really catches my eye. Amazing books

As a thirteen year old it makes me appreciate my parents a lot more than before all these children around London being preyed upon by all the sickos... The grown-ups
