About this ebook

From the vast frozen wilderness of Alaska, Chad Carpenter brings Tundra. The National Cartoonists Society named Tundra as the Best Newspaper Panel Cartoon of the Year in 2007. These are award-winning cartoons from a naturally wonderful place.

A tour guide might overlook some of the more quirky aspects of Alaska, but Carpenter sees it in a completely different light (even if that light only shows itself part of the year). Carpenter gives nature's residents, the furry and the not-so-furry, full attention. He also gives them voices that can bring a tear of laughter to the eye.

Tundra is full of talking snowmen, inept hunters, obsessed fishermen, and inviting wildlife looking for their next meal. It's also packed with an abundance of hilarity.

Tundra: Nature's Favorite Comic Strip features a "best of" collection with 560 cartoons from over 16 years of syndication.

BUY THESE, ALL. just saw in yearbook you're "most likely to be Famous Cartoonists"! WOW! My parents met you at Sat. market up there, got some books, that you signed & wrote Uplifting things in. A belated THANK YOU! Up there, as a dentist & bending, my back was killing me. A Dr I saw made a "mistake" resulting in an incurable disease (RSD). 5 yrs later, due to unbearable pain, my parents moved us to hell,.or UT. A few mo's there, my legs went numb, not the pain. Spent~8 yrs as paraplegic, A spinal tumor, from back sur was the cause. in '07, walking again, I thought "it's finally over, can't get worst" never say that. Since then, & until yr ago, I've spent more time fighting diseases, ect, even a few deaths, I Wouldn't trade any of it, for anything. Actually I'm beyond greatful. Always telling my 2 kids-"there are no trials nor mistakesll, only opportunities to learn & grow from. Only mistake- Giving up, or not doing OUR best. (Not a Facebook best). Th
