About this ebook
depends on a K-9’s sharp instincts.
When a twelve-year-old guest is abducted during a white-water rafting trip, river guide Kenton “Crockett” Watts and his retriever, Nixie, must put all their survival skills to the test to rescue her. Complicating matters is that the girl’s half-sister is Tia Smith, the woman Crockett left at the altar six years ago. With Nixie leading the way, Crockett has one shot at redemption: find Maddie before the kidnappers—or the wilderness—kill her first. As time runs out, Tia and Crockett must confront their unresolved feelings while racing to save her sister. Can they trust each other—and Nixie’s quick reflexes—to survive the Idaho mountains and armed kidnappers?
