A well-written and thoroughly researched account of the struggle to provide Australian women with equitable access to abortion. I found it a very accessible read, and now feel I have a firm grasp of the issues despite the fact that my specialty is in a different field. I would recommend this highly to anyone with an interest in the collisions and collaborations between medicine and politics.
