I’d recommend this children's chapter book to kids who love animal stories, big adventures, and characters who get themselves into wild situations but somehow wiggle their way out. It’s also great for adults reading aloud because the humor hits on both levels. If you want something light and sweet that still has heart, this feels like a good pick.

Fun children's adventure book. A great addition to any homeschool curriculum, or any parent who wants their kid to learn about the United States. The book itself is very easy to read, exciting, filled with many characters, and with plenty of visuals to accompany the content. I would recommend this read to kids and their parents who enjoy adventure, animals, and learning about the United States of America.

About the author

Carol Patton has been a journalist and writer for many years and has even won a national writing award. The Adventures of Mo (Mo) is without a doubt (paws down!) her passion project.

Patton’s hope is to share her love of geography, history and, of course, animals with others to help them become global citizens who positively impact the world around them.

Patton wrote this series as a tribute to her family dog, an American Eskimo named Mozart who passed away at the age of ten from cancer. Through The Adventures of Mo eBook, she hopes you will get to know Mo the way her family did. He was a smart and mischievous dog that loved ice cream!
