About the author
Carol Marinelli recently filled in a form asking for her job title. Thrilled to be able to put down her answer, she put writer. Then it asked what Carol did for relaxation and she put down the truth - writing. The third question asked for her hobbies. Well, not wanting to look obsessed she crossed the fingers on her hand and answered swimming but, given that the chlorine in the pool does terrible things to her highlights – I’m sure you can guess the real answer.
Amy Blythe (she/her) is a hopeless romantic. She cannot get enough of that whooshing feeling you get from a significant look, a hand flex, a world-spinning kiss, or a mid-argument, accidental confession of love. She lives in Otautahi Christchurch with her husband, two teenagers and one enormous, fluffy cat (to whom she is allergic). A high school English teacher by day, she also runs an inter-school poetry slam despite never memorising anything longer than a haiku. The first novel she wrote was Jane Austen fanfiction, the second, ER fanfiction. And that probably tells you everything you need to know.
