What a splendid adventure! Molly and her friends embark on a hunt on a deserted island to find treasure, to help raise money for a fair back at the castle. Except the island is not quite so deserted, and the group of friends come face to face with different creatures, battle with bad weather and attempt to resolve their difficulties along the way- all while trying to make it back in time for the fundraising fair. Filled with clues, puzzles, action...

This fun book is about a group of five adventurous kids who's adoptive parent, a kind king, sends them on an exciting treasure hunt. I love the way the journey becomes one of self discovery and of personal growth for each character as they learn to face their fears, resolve conflict and care for one another. I'd recommend this for young readers who enjoy adventures that involve solving puzzles. This will be a great tool for them to learn some important relational lessons along the way.

I could hardly put Molly’s New Treasure down, enough to go get a much needed snack. So riveting. I like the good lessons the children learn along the way. Lessons on working together, forgiving each other and trusting the King (who is a picture of God).

Steve Allen was always interested in drawing when he was young, but only began to take it seriously later in life.

As a Dad and now a Granddad, he knows just what makes kids tick. He has often put his illustrations to good use during years of working with kids clubs and youth groups.

Now, when he’s not working at his day job as an office manager, he can be found sketching using the paper and pencils left lyying all around the house.

Steve illustrates entirely on iPad. He brings to life several fun new characters, as well as bringing back some well-loved favourites.
