About the author
Carlos M. Teixeira Graduated in architecture (1992, EA-UFMG) and has a Masters Degree in Housing and Urbanism (1994, distinction) at the Architectural Association of London. He published the books Under construction: history of the void in BH (CosacNaify, 1999), O Condomínio Absoluto (or The ultimate skyscraper), (C/Arte, 2009), and is one of the organizers of Collateral Spaces (Cidades Criativas, 2008). In 1998, Carlos founded the furniture design workshop Casa Design Brasileiro (casadesignbrasileiro.com.br) with his former partner, Helena Rios, and founded Vazio S/A in 2002. His work was already exhibited at Palácio das Artes (Belo Horizonte); Victoria & Albert Museum (London), Museu da Casa Brasileira (Sao Paulo); IV Biennial of Architecture of São Paulo; Pavillion of l'Arsenal (Paris); IX Architecture International Biennial of Venice; the Royal Institute of British Architects (London), Sao Paulo Art Biennial, among other venues.
