The Cursed Inheritance
About this ebook
Can magic be saved?
Since she was a young demon, Cyrena has felt the weight of obligation. After all, her mother is the Forum Master, charged with governing the demon realm. But a new era is dawning, and soon her friend Wort will take the throne as ruler of Demonspace. Cyrena has always believed in Wort, but the Unbreakable Crown he wears makes his power unstable, and his anger threatens to destroy both him and those he seeks to lead. Cyrena may be the only one he trusts, but can she still trust him?
Avery has never fit in. Rooming with Abundance Feast at Tenebrun Academy changed that. Bun holds the crown that can balance Wort's power, but both Avery and Bun have been charged with shielding the Lost Princess from Forum's darkness, which requires them to hide from Wort. Avery knows there are prophecies to protect and her homeland is in danger. Still, isn't standing up for friendship and one's dreams just as important?
In the turmoil, the heirs of House Feast and House Famine have been separated. Rue, Merri, and Bun race to reunite. They must return the Lost Princess to the human world and rebalance the power between realms before a demon war breaks out, or the clash will destroy all magic and those who possess it...
