This is one of those books that you need to savour every moment and can’t rush anything! It is quite a girthy one, so it took me longer than normal to get through it, but the time flew. The storytelling is so rich and vibrant. The characters are complex and compelling. The circumstances every changing and volatile. This all added up to an amazing story that left us, once again, with some answers, and a whole lot more questions. Cannot wait for it all to play out <3

Whoa, this book is thick, and I was here for every last page!! From the very first page to the very last page, I was enthralled by Carmine and Luna's story. Every freaking twist and turn on me on the edge of my seat. The start of the story takes us back in time to when Carmine was sired. Oh, what a heartbreaking story, but oh, so important. Gah!!! The ending and the twist! I can't wait for the next book!!

Carmine and Luna's heart-pounding journey continues to hold me captive. It picks up after the stunning end of book one and hits the ground running! We learn more about Carmine's history, and the precariousness he faces. Luna wants to be with Carmine and finds her way there. But Carmine is still on the hunt for the knife that will heal him. He is afraid that he can't protect Luna from his enemies in his weakened state. But Luna is growing stronger and she is determined to help him. Love this!
